What was your first thought when you woke up this morning? Was it, “oh shit, I am going to be late for work because I have to rush to get the kids off to school!” Or was it ” This day is going to be the worst because I have to give that presentation at work, or “Why does it have to be raining outside again?!” Your life is going to revolve around the way you think about it, and let me tell you something if you think it is going to be a bad day, and if you think that it is going to suck because you might have to do something that may not be fun it most definitely will.
Change your perspective, and start looking at the day at hand as something new, and fun, and yes, imperfect. Embrace the beautiful mess that life is, allow yourself permission to step back and breathe when you need to, and focus on just how good the day really is.
